Dear Friends in the Dharma,

Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche’s North American Tour is being cancelled due to difficulty in obtaining timely interviews for the required visas. Rinpoche will be unable to teach programs planned for Canada, Mexico, and the United States this year.

Our sincere wish is that we will be able to host Rinpoche in North America in 2025.

Donations for tour expenses will be saved for the next tour unless you would like us to direct your contribution to a different project, such as retreat cabin maintenance, temple repairs, or general expenses. Financial details can be found on our Fundraising page.

Rinpoche will still be offering the Trekchod segment of the Kunzang Gongdu teachings in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in late September. In addition, details on Rinpoche’s Australia Tour can be found here.

Qualifying students may also attend the Rushen portion of the Kunzang Gongdu cycle in Blye, France, with Rinpoche’s brother, Khenpo Karma Wangyal, in June 2024. Please contact Pema Yang Dzong for information.
